PS5 Launch Titles: Every Game We Want To See Announced For PlayStation 5
We're still waiting for Sony to officially unveil the PlayStation 5, along with an (undoubtedly) stellar lineup of PS5 games. At the moment, we don't know much about what we're going to be playing on the PS5. A handful of third-party developers have confirmed that they're developing titles for the next PlayStation, but we don't yet know what the PS5 launch titles will be; in other words, the games that will be released alongside the console itself. So here at TechRadar, we've put together a list of potential launch titles that would compel us to buy a PlayStation 5 from day one. Not all of them are winners, some aren't even plausible, but it's part of the fun, right? god of war 2
Vic Hood: Game Writer
After the success of God of War on PS4, it's likely that we'll see God of War 2 on PlayStation 5, well I hope so. It would seem strange not to have Kratos, one of Sony's main mascots, leading the charge to the next generation. God of War remains one of Sony's best exclusives to date, so imagine what Sony Santa Monica could do with the power of the PS5. There are a few signs to suggest we'll see God of War 2 on PS5, including SIE Santa Monica Studio's job listings and a lack of DLC for the PS4 title. However, the game itself hasn't been confirmed by Sony, so whether or not God of War 2 will be a PS5 launch title, or even exist at all, remains a mystery. Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Nick Pino: Editor-in-Chief - Home Entertainment
One of Sony's biggest features in its next-gen system is its ability to load games at blazing speeds. A few months ago, Sony even used Marvel's Spider-Man as an example of the speed of these load times with side-by-side comparisons to the PS4 Pro. It was amazing to go from the game's main menu to the sprawling, feature-packed metropolis of Spider-Man on the screen in less than a second, and yet it was happening live in front of the public. Now, a tech demo doesn't always mean there's a project on the go, but using Spider-Man on stage got us thinking about a next-gen version of the game, and how cool it would be. Sure, it might be hard to release another Spider-Man game in two years, but a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man with faster load times, better visuals, and an even bigger map would certainly be a way to convince people to invest in new ones. teams on the first day.

I'm a huge fan of all Bethesda games (yes, even Fallout 76) and if a company game is announced for the PS5, you can sign up. Actually, it will be Starfield, the company's next space game. I'm excited to see how Bethesda manages to replicate the Fallout and Elder Scrolls joy of wandering aimlessly and stumble upon hidden stories; when you're snooping around in a spaceship. GTA 6

It's no secret that I'm a boring PlayStation gamer. I play about two games; GTA and FIFA. As we can be pretty sure FIFA 21 will be coming to the next-gen Sony console at launch, it's not too much of a draw. What would really grab my attention and make PS5 a must-launch day would be the arrival of Grand Theft Auto 6 alongside the shiny new console. I have been patiently waiting for the next major episode of the Rockstar series for over half a decade. I liked GTA V so much that I bought it twice, the first time on PlayStation 3 and then again when I bought my PS4. There's no doubt I'll be buying GTA 6 when it's available, and to avoid a double buy I wouldn't hesitate to grab the PS5 at launch if it comes with this game. . Horizon Zero Dawn 2
Samuel Roberts: Senior Entertainment Writer
The PS4-exclusive Horizon is over three years old, and a follow-up that comes to PS5 in time for its release seems possible. Developer Guerrilla Games has always been good at showcasing the technical capabilities of PlayStation hardware, and Sony will want to continue as the PS5 tries to impress. What's better than more robot dinosaurs and beautiful sci-fi environments? Horizon Zero Dawn 2 is more likely to hit PS5 at launch than a Spider-Man sequel – many Sony studios have produced games in the PlayStation 4's lifespan, such as Insomniac, Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions. Guerrilla is no longer a dead cert for a launch game.

Undoubtedly one of the most revered games of all time, Shadow of the Colossus is a thoughtful and annoying game, letting you shoot massive and beautifully rendered colossi to bring your lost love back from the dead. it is entirely due to a reboot to use the PS5 hardware. Originally a PS2 game, it recently received a PS4 remaster, putting it back in the spotlight. If Sony managed to give it the same treatment as the God of War reboot back in 2017, expanding the world without losing the emotional heart of its story, we could consider it a real winner. I would definitely buy a PS5 on launch day. Engine Storm Rebooted

I'm still dismayed that Motorstorm was stuck on the PS3 and never made it to PS4. The combination of multi-road tracks that catered to different vehicles, the overheat meter (which could get cold for some routes), and the insanity of the physics engine made me so frustrated and happy to play. While Sony is apparently sitting on the IP, the power of the PS5 could offer something beautiful here: big, expansive games that not only let you try small sections of an island or a ruined city, but a large space with various tracks. around it. All packed with madness fueled by the boost meter. Make it happen, Sony, please.
