PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022 is here to bring you your annual dose of shame

It's that time of year again. The days are getting shorter, your sleeves are getting longer, and PlayStation Wrap-Up is here to confront you with your annual player stats for 2022 and challenge you to go public.

That's right, PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022 (Opens in a new tab) is available, allowing you to check how many games you've played in 2022, which games you've played the most, and (arguably most importantly) how many hours you've sunk into PlayStation. completely.

You'll even be able to see some great overall stats for game-specific quirks and counts, like "the number of Thunderjaws downed in Horizon Forbidden West, total miles driven in Gran Turismo 7, and total axes thrown in God of War Ragnarök," according to the official PlayStation Blog post (Opens in a new tab).

We know you're not exactly ashamed of your 800 hours in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and neither should you be. In fact, you might want to share your stat summary card to brag about – Elden Ring Platinum is no easy feat, you know? If you decide to broadcast your hours on social media, you'll be rewarded for your candor with one of six Astro Bot PlayStation Network profile pictures for your PSN account, showcasing your individual achievements this year.

We've been able to access our annual PlayStation roundups for a few years now. Comparing your stats with your friends' can create some friendly competition in the gaming world, just like our Spotify Wrapped tells us how high we rank as the top fans of a specific genre or artist.

Here's TRG Associate Editor Vic Hood's PlayStation roundup. He did quite a bit of legwork on Dead by Daylight and bagged quite a bag of trophies. Santa Claus would be proud.

A gift for everyone

If you're not a PlayStation user, there are other ways to check how long you've been connected to your favorite title. PC gamers like myself are faced with time investments every time we load a client, so I'm not too intimidated as I've seen those numbers rise all year.

If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can view your individual game stats by going to your Xbox profile, clicking the Achievements tab, and navigating to the game of your choice. Here, Game Pass chooses to give you your input time in days instead of hours. I've spent over a week at Disney Dreamlight Valley so far, and you know what? I'm glad my mom can't see me anymore.
