Peaky Blinders season 5 really put a key to work when it comes to the standalone nature of the popular series.. Historically, Tommy Shelby's season-to-season adventures have been largely independent of one another, but the cliff-edge ending in the last entry left fans eager to see the return of a show that would only last five seasons. However, after a series of Covid related delays, Peaky Blinders season 2021 early 6 release date has been pushed back, and it's unlikely we'll be seeing the Birmingham-based Shelby gang on our screens anytime soon. That said, with a supposedly "fucking strong" plotline in the works, we're not short of lead on how the series will follow Tommy's bout of violent psychosis, or Oswald Mosely's narrow escape. Then, What do we know about Peaky Blinders in terms of its history? Well, expect to see familiar faces piece together the details left behind by the botched assassination of Sir Oswald Mosely in Tommy. Of course, we also hope to see Cillian Murphy return as Tommy, along with the other usual Shelby suspects. Of course, season 5 ended with the show's main character looking pretty distraught in a field with a gun to his head, but our money's on him who lives to fight another day.
