Oppo Mobiles announced on Thursday the launch of the Oppo F15 in India. The phone has a particular configuration with four 48MP cameras and is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 chip. We have already seen the same processor in the Oppo F11 Pro and even in the Vivo V15. Oppo F15 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at Rs 19.990 in India, which compares it with Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme X2 and Redmi K20. Oppo F15 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a U-shaped cutout for a notch. The screen is covered with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 for additional protection against daily wear and tear. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, which is quite an outdated processor. It is paired with an octa-core processor and Mali-G3 MP72 graphics processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is only one variant of the phone available in India with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB of storage. It runs on ColorOS 6.1 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The F15 sports a 48MP quad camera setup consisting of a 48MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. At the front, there's a single 16MP selfie camera housed in the notch cutout. The phone has a built-in fingerprint sensor and the battery has a capacity of 4025 mAh with support for the VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging standard. Oppo says that the F15 can charge from 0% to 50% in up to 30 minutes. Oppo F15 is available in a single variant in India at the price of Rs 19.990. The phone will be on sale on January 24 on Amazon, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.
