Oppo Enco Free launched in India about a year ago and was one of our top recommendations for true wireless earphones under Rs 10,000. Now Oppo has announced the Oppo Enco Free 2, the successor to the original. Recently introduced in China with the Oppo Reno 6 range, the Oppo Enco Free 2 brings many new features like active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.2, up to 30 hours of battery life and more, in fact the Enco Free 2 borrowed a lot of features of Oppo Enco X which was launched in India earlier this year.
Oppo Enco Free 2 Features and Specifications
(Image credit: Oppo) The Oppo Enco Free 2 in-ear style designed true wireless stereo earphones with a stem design. It uses low latency Bluetooth 5.2 wireless transmission. The start of the show here though is the active noise canceling feature. The Oppo Enco Free 2 with its ANC can reduce outside noise by up to 42 dB, one of the best we've seen from a TWS pair. Inside, the audio device comes with a new tri-core noise reduction chip that improves noise reduction. Like the Oppo Enco X, the device also comes with three levels of noise cancellation, including transparent mode.
(Image credit: Oppo) Additionally, the Oppo Enco Free 2 houses a 10mm voice coil driver with support for AAC/SBC codecs. Similar to the Enco X, Oppo has partnered with Dynaudio to fine-tune the audio. You also get 94ms of low latency, which makes it good for gamers too. As for controls, you get full touch controls for calls, media, and volume. It also supports double tap to capture on the phone. Oppo claims that these headphones can last up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge with the included case. The headphones are rated to last 4 hours with ANC on and up to 6,4 hours with ANC mode off. Each button carries a 41 mAh battery, while the case is equipped with a 480 mAh battery unit. Other notable features include IP54 dual-stream dustproof and waterproof technology, three microphones for noise reduction, voice assistant support, and smart wear detection.

Oppo Enco Free 2 price
The Oppo Enco is priced at CNY 599, or around Rs 6800. The earphones are available in black and white color options. Since the predecessor, Oppo Enco Free launched in India in 2020, we can also expect Enco Free 2 to launch in India in July alongside the Oppo Reno 6 series.
