According to Max J. (a fairly reliable editor) on Twitter, a new OnePlus phone will be announced on that date in India, with a separate launch event for the US and Europe on October 10, and set for sale on the 15th. October. - Although we do not know if this date is global, neither for the United States and Europe, nor for India.
Although the name OnePlus 7T is not mentioned by name, the source refers to a OnePlus phone, so it is the obvious candidate.
A family date
If the date of October 15 is familiar to you, it is because the same source had already proposed it, one of the sources of LaComparacion indicates that the date was incorrect. However, at the time, it was assumed (from the slightly uncertain tweet) that it was the announcement date of the OnePlus 7T, not the date it would go on sale.
So with this diminishing confusion, it is possible that Max J. and our source are right. It is a bit surprising that India receives a separate announcement earlier than the rest of the world, but this could reflect the importance of the Indian market for OnePlus.
Of course, we would always like to take these dates with a pinch of salt for now, but in the absence of alternative dates, these are our best guesses at the moment.
