The next milestone will be 50 locations, a number that O2 hopes to reach in the summer. He confirmed that Windsor, Eton, Reading, Blackpool, Bournemouth and Guildford will be active by the end of March. "We were incredibly proud to start our 5G network in October, and it's great to reach our goal of 20 cities and towns connected to our next-generation network," said Derek McManus, O2's COO. "I believe that 5G will revolutionize the way people and businesses use mobile connectivity, opening up enormous possibilities for our economy and society."
