Nokia, which has partnered with Flipkart for the TV lineup, has introduced a new Smart TV in India. The new 65-inch Smart Android TV variant sits just above the 43-inch model released in June and is priced at ₹64,999. The new 65-inch Android TV listed on Flipkart has a 4K resolution LED panel of 3840x2160 pixels. Nokia says the display is an A+ grade panel and has a 60Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness is 480 nits. Viewing angles are pretty good at a 178-degree field of view, but the contrast ratio is 1100:1. Nokia claims the display supports Dolby Vision and smart dimming to enhance darker areas, improve contrast and colours.

(Image credit: Flipkart) Under the hood, the 53GHz quad-core Cortex A-1 Pure X processor powers the device. The device comes with a Mali 450MP4 GPU to better handle DC dimming and color reproduction. There is 2.25 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. As for connectivity, the TV has 3xHDMI, 1xUSB 2.0, 1xAV and 1xUSB 3.0 Ethernet ports. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz). From an audio perspective, the Nokia TV is powered by JBL Audio with bottom-firing 24W speakers and supports DTS Tru sound and JBL audio tuning. Other features include 5-band equalizer, auto volume booster, and dialog enhancement. The model number is 65CAUHDN and the TV runs Android TV 9 out of the box with Chromecast built-in, Google Voice Assistant support, and the Play Store for downloading more apps. Like its predecessor, the 43-inch TV, the new 4-inch 65K TV comes pre-loaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube apps. A dedicated remote with keyboard shortcuts for these apps also provides voice control using the Google Assistant. Nokia's 4-inch 65K Android Smart TV is priced at Rs 64,999 (€869) and will be available exclusively through Flipkart from August 6. Flipkart has offers like 5% discount on Axis Bank Buzz and Flipkart Axis Bank credit cards, and 10% instant discount on standard credit cards for EMI transactions.
