The world's first phone to offer five cameras – the Nokia 9 PureView has finally arrived in India. With a rather old 18:9 image format, the highlight of the phone is in a hexagonal assembly on the back of the phone. Nokia 9 PureView Pricing and Availability

Nokia 9 PureView is priced at Rs 49.999 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. HMD Global is making the phone available in two stages. Starting at midnight on July 10, the Nokia 9 PureView will be available on Nokia India Store and Flipkart. Starting July 17, it will be available at all major pan-Indian retail stores. As part of the introductory offer, people who buy the phone from Nokia's India store are eligible for a Rs 5,000 gift card and Rs 705 Nokia 9,999 headset for free.

Nokia 9 PureView specifications

The Nokia 9 PureView has a glass back in an aluminum frame and is just 8mm thick. With IP67 certification, the phone is resistant to dust and water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It features a 5.99-inch POLED screen with a 2K (2880 x 1440 pixels) resolution and is HDR10 compatible. The screen is topped by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection against drops. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with an octa-core processor and Adreno 630 as GPU. This is combined with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Nokia 9 PureView runs on Android 9.0 Pie series as part of the Android One program. On the back, there are five 12MP cameras consisting of two RGB sensors and three monochrome sensors that work simultaneously with a time-of-flight camera to create images. The cameras were installed with Zeiss optics, and a 20-megapixel front camera is used for selfies. The phone features a built-in fingerprint sensor and a 3,320mAh battery capacity, which also supports 18W fast charging and 10W Qi wireless charging standards.
