Nikon School puts all of its photography courses online, including the free ones.
Nikon School UK has announced that its face-to-face photography courses and camera tutorials have been launched, and some free sessions are included. The school typically offers its courses in person, but given the news, it has made them available online "for the foreseeable." It follows a similar announcement from Nikon School US, which recently made ten separate classes available for free if you create an account on its home page. So what are the different options that Nikon School UK offers for photographers frustrated in stuck situations, wherever you may be? One-on-one sessions are available via Zoom for the greatly reduced price of €49 (about $60 / AU$95), which is about a third of the regular price. The content of these can be tailored to your photographic needs or your favorite topics, and also includes "constructive" image reviews. You can also choose the day that suits you best. But if you just want to hone your technique and skills for free, Nikon also offers free sessions for beginners. These include "Introduction to DSLR Photography" and "Introduction to the Nikon Z Series," if you've recently picked up a camera like the Nikon Z6. If you're familiar with your camera and just want professional editing tips, Nikon also offers another free two-hour session on mastering Lightroom Classic. If ever there was a time to declutter your photo archive, now is the time. We also love the aspect of Nikon's virtual tours to places like the Lake District, which are also available via Zoom, if only to make us feel like we're on vacation. To see the full list of free and individual sessions, simply go to the Nikon School UK course calendar.
