New Nokia 5G Phone Ready To Play In No Time To Die To Launch On March 19
HMD Global (the firm behind Nokia phones) has confirmed that it will launch its first 5G phone on March 19, before it appears in the upcoming James Bond movie, No Time To Die. You can preview the new 5G phone (rumored to be the Nokia 10) in the 90-second teaser video, where Agent Nomi (played by Lashana Lynch) uses the Google Assistant to display photos, instructions for navigation, and send text messages with your voice. It could be said that she doesn't have time to compose. (ahem) We already knew a Nokia phone was coming, after HMD Global dropped a Bond-themed teaser, and we're likely to see more than just a new 5G phone announced at the event with previous releases from the company bringing several new devices.

What do we know about the Nokia 5G phone?

Although the only official detail on the upcoming phone is the fact that it will have 5G support, we can get some additional information from the teaser video. Agent Nomi says "36 hours of the chase, and we're still going strong" as the camera pans to the corner of the phone's screen, where the battery level reads 20%. It's a clear sign of potential two-day battery life, which hopefully means the new Nokia 5G phone packs in a big battery. He also shows us that the new 5G phone is set to have a centralized display notch for the selfie camera. The phone appears to have a large screen that takes up most of the front, but there is a small chin that houses the Nokia logo. Image 1 of 7

Under the camera bump, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner can be seen, while there appears to be a headphone jack on the top edge of the earcup, and a power button and volume rocker on the right, plus a quick launch button on the left. A photo from the camera app reveals a macro lens, as well as icons for a standard shooting lens and a wide-angle option. Below the icons are several light modes, including Photo, Portrait, Video, and Night. Unsurprisingly, the Nokia 5G phone appears to be running a relatively standard version of Android, as HMD Global wants, and from some shots of the phone, it could sport a large 21:9 screen. We'll know all the details and the official name of the phone. device when Nokia launches on March 19. Until then, you can continue interviewing the witness, sorry, the video.
