New iPad Pro 2021 release date indicated by Apple
We are now pretty sure that the new 2021 iPad Pro lineup will hit stores on May 21. We're convinced of that, as the slates are now available for pre-order, and if you follow that process in the UK, at the time of writing, you'll get a May 21-27 delivery timeframe. In the US, things are a little less clear cut, with some models showing with a 2-3 week window (rather than specific dates). Two weeks would only get us to May 14, so it's possible that the release date could be before May 21, but once you enter a zip code on the site, it gives a more precise window: each one we have. Tested returned with May 21-27. In Australia the wait can be a bit longer - the shop page again lists 2-3 weeks, but we entered a Sydney postcode and were told it wouldn't be delivered until June 3rd.

May 21 in both sizes

This May 21 date applies to both the new iPad Pro 11 and iPad Pro 12.9 in the US and UK, though we're currently only seeing this for certain models on the larger list in the US. United States, and others will ship in June. Therefore, the availability dates are still unclear and may change more in the future as more people place orders. But given that May 21 is the earliest date we can see, and previous rumors of that date being the same, we don't expect to get a new iPad Pro on your hands until then. As Apple talks about possible supply limitations for its iPad lines throughout the year, availability may be reduced soon. So if you're ready to buy one of these new tablets, it might be worth it now, but if you're not in a rush, you should consider waiting for our full review.
