New Call of Duty name leak suggests a return to WWII
The new Call of Duty, due out this year, is being called "Call of Duty WW2: Vanguard" internally within developer Sledgehammer Games, according to a new report. According to sources who spoke to ModernWarzone (via GamesRadar), Call of Duty 2021 is being developed by Call of Duty: WW2 developer Sledgehammer Games, with the game tentatively titled "Call of Duty WW2: Vanguard." ModernWarzone explained that it is probably going by a code name or a job title, susceptible to modifications to the future, but I suggest that the Call of Duty prochain be derailed to a new level in the second World War.

A truck of salt

But, while it pays to be cautiously optimistic, it's worth noting that another leading Call of Duty leaker has previously claimed that the new game will take place during World War II. We already know that a new Call of Duty game is in the works and is scheduled to release in late 2021, however Activision has been very close to the details, including who is working on Call of Duty 2021. With the game scheduled for launching later this year, we hope the official reveal won't be long, probably in the next few months.
