Mumbai Gullies, a GTA-style game created by an Indian developer, to launch soon

India hasn't been a great destination for video game making, but we've had some success recently and now another game wants to join those ranks. A new game called Mumbai Gullies from GameEon Studios aims to get into the same league as the games in the GTA series. The trailer for the game is currently available in English and Hindi and while it doesn't show off the gameplay, it teases much of the setting. GTA has always been a popular game series in India and having an all-Indian version set in Mumbai would definitely be exciting.

Mumbai Ravines: Preview Details

While there is not a lot of information currently available about the game, the trailer does show some locations that we hope will be available in the game. The description of the trailer on YouTube reads: "Mumbai Gullies is exactly the game we collectively dream of. It's the dream envisioned by our CEO Nikhil Malankar ever since he started his career with his friend." We guess that the plot of the game would have something to do with the fictional underworld of the city. The teaser shows the Bombay Stock Exchange and the Dalal Street sign. Then come scenes featuring Mumbai's iconic black and yellow taxis and auto rickshaws. The teaser shows a red sedan crossing a busy street with traffic and a fairly accurate police vehicle in pursuit. We see the dairy centers open early while it's still dark. There is a scene that features a character playing a game called Kyte from the same GameEon Studios. We also get a glimpse of what appears to be a prominent character on a street mural in a scene from the teaser. We can even see the police officers in the game appearing dressed as the ones in real life. CEO Nikhil Malankar took a break from the teaser where he explains the various details used in the game, including vehicles, road sighs, and whatnot. According to the teaser, the game is scheduled to release on Steam and Epic Games for PC soon, and no specific date has been mentioned yet.
