Motorola One Macro announced with a camera for close-up photography

Motorola is further expanding its One smartphone lineup with the new Motorola One Macro.

After hearing leaks in this device for a few weeks, Motorola has announced the launch of its new smartphone. It has some extra budget features compared to the latest Motorola One phones, but like the rest of the series, it has a unique feature.

Before the Motorola One Macro, we had seen the Motorola One Zoom, and before that, the One Action, the One Vision, and the One. They have all been announced in the last 12 months.

What is the Motorola One Macro?

Like almost all Motorola One phones, the One Macro gets its name from its camera system. In this case, it is a macro lens, a kit that Motorola has never used in its devices. It has a 2MP sensor.

A macro lens is used to take photos of small objects and make them look large. Photographers use these lenses to take snapshots of small things like plants, insects, and food.

Some smartphones already have a macro lens, like the Honor 20 Pro, but since many lensless phones have a playback mode, the kit has not become as popular as telephoto or ultra-wide.

The Motorola Macro's snapper is connected to a 13 MP main sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor for portraits, and an 8 MP front camera in one notch.

A resolved budget issue

You'll notice that the Motorola One Macro camera doesn't have the 48 MPa patch of the Motorola MP, and overall the specs are rather mid-range, even compared to other One phones.

There's a Mediatek Helio P70 chipset, a 6.2-inch LCD screen, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 4000mAh battery. All of these features (except perhaps the battery) are being negated by other Motorola One phones.

At the moment, the phone has only been announced for India, but it will launch in the rest of the world on October 24. We will find all the information on prices and availability, to see if the phone is as affordable as the specifications. suggest.
