Motorola announces a trio of new phones, including the future Moto G8 Plus

Motorola's day was busy because it just released not one but three new phones, namely the Moto G8 Plus, the Moto E6 Play and the Motorola One Macro.

The Moto G8 Plus is perhaps the culmination, and certainly the highest price at €239 (about £310 / AU$450). It is equipped with a rear-facing triple-lens camera, a 48MP main lens, an ultra-wide action camera (like the Motorola One Action), and a small camera. A depth sensor. Like the Motorola One Vision, it uses quad-pixel technology to spread more light. on, to improve low-light performance.

The Moto G8 Plus also features a 25-megapixel front-facing camera, a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, a 4,000mAh TurboPower fast-charging battery, and two stereo speakers, apparently allowing for bass a 50% more powerful. it is twice as powerful as a typical smartphone speaker.

At the bottom is the Moto E6 Play, which will cost less than €99 (around €130 / AU$185), although we don't know the exact price yet. It has a 5.5-inch HD + screen in 18: 9 format, a 13 MP main camera, 32 GB of storage space, a microSD card reader, a 3000 mAh battery, a fingerprint DVD player (back) and facial recognition. Basic then, but on paper this seems very reasonable for the price.

Finally, there's the Motorola One Macro, and if it sounds familiar, that's because Motorola has already announced it, but it was only announced for India. It's now coming to other regions, including the UK, where it will cost €179 (about $230 / AU$340).

Its name comes from the presence of a macro lens, which can apparently get 5 times closer to the subject than the normal lens, and manages to stay as close as 2 cm. There is also a 13 MP main lens and a depth sensor.

Other specifications include 4 GB of RAM, an AI chipset & # 39; (seemingly smart and energy efficient), a 6.2-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 64GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and a 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.

The Moto G8 Plus and Motorola One Macro will land in the UK on October 28, while the Moto E6 Play will be slightly more advanced than it was in early January. Availability and pricing in other areas needs to be confirmed, but we'll keep you posted if we hear anything.
