The Samsung Galaxy Fold isn't on sale yet, but we've already heard of a "clamshell" phone follow-up, and now we're starting to learn more about it. Korean news publication ET News has published a report containing information about Samsung's foldable phone, which we doubled down with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. It's unclear exactly where the publication received the information, so take it with a pinch of salt. , but ET News has a strong enough track record for leaks like this. According to the report, the Galaxy Fold 2 will feature a 6,7-inch display. It's the same size as the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, but unlike the S10 5G, you can fold it in half on its horizontal axis for storage. Once folded, the main screen will apparently be hidden, but the phone is said to have a 1-inch screen visible on the outer casing, which will likely display basic information like notifications or current music. The original Galaxy Fold also folds inward, hiding the main screen when not in use, but it folds along the vertical rather than horizontal axis and has a larger secondary screen than it would have, based on what we say, this phone. In many ways, the Galaxy Fold 2 looks a lot like an old foldable phone that folds horizontally, but it can sometimes show you notifications on a secondary screen. Of course, the main difference between this phone and a classic flip phone lies in the fact that once unfolded, you have a proper smartphone. It's also pretty much the design we expect to see with the unannounced Motorola Razr V4, which is apparently a modern take on Motorola's old Flip phones.
