Misfit Vapor X is a powerful, feature-rich and potentially durable smartwatch

Misfit announced its latest smartwatch in the form of the Misfit Vapor X, the latest device in the Vapor range after the Vapor 2, and it is arguably the highest level mobile phone since Misfit to date.

This is explained by the fact that it runs on the Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, making it one of the few smartwatches to benefit from the improvements made by the new processor.

The main advantage of the Wear 3100 is a significantly reduced power consumption. Your device should last longer with each charge, but it also provides more accurate fitness tracking and advanced environmental modes. In short, this should be good news for the Misfit Vapor X.

Another change from the Vapor X is in the design because it is metal rather than plastic, as in previous Vapor handhelds.

Here is an aluminum alloy case which, at 12mm thick, is thicker than the Vapor 2, however, along with its new Sport Strap +, Misfit says the Vapor X is their "most comfortable smartwatch. ".

The Vapor X is available in one size, at 42mm (the Vapor 2 at 41 and 46mm), and at 1.19 inches, the AMOLED is slightly smaller than the 1.2 and 1.4 inches of the Vapor 2.

The Misfit Vapor X uses the Google Wear operating system, just like previous Vapor watches, and features many of the same features, such as shape and heart rate monitoring, water resistance, and more. swim tracking, fast charging, 4GB of storage and 512GB of RAM. There is also NFC technology, which allows contactless payments with the watch.

In fact, in terms of functions, it is practically identical to the Vapor 2. The main changes you get here are the metal design and the new chipset, which should allow the battery to last longer.

You can buy the Misfit Vapor X from the Misfit website right now, where it will cost you € 279 (about € 230, AU € 410), but if you grab it fast, Misfit offers it for an introductory price of € 199. € 99 (about AU $ 165), which represents a significant savings.
