The success of Microsoft Teams continues to grow as more and more users around the world subscribe to the platform.
The videoconferencing service already has more than 270 million monthly active users (MAU) according to the latest figures published by Microsoft.
That's more than the 250 million Microsoft Teams MAUs the company reported just six months ago, as the era of hybrid work continues to drive the platform.

In her latest quarterly financial report, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella noted that while Teams' growth has been encouraging, she expects it to slow somewhat as usage begins to level off.
Microsoft changed the way it measures Teams usage last year from daily active users to monthly active users, again suggesting the numbers may be slipping a bit.
However, the company is still busy working on updates and upgrades for Teams, with recent releases including a way for users to hide their own video stream during a call, apply a reaction emoji to chat messages, and even add her Cortana voice. - platform recognition software.
Overall, the second quarter of 2022 was incredibly successful for Microsoft, as the company beat analyst forecasts to post another strong quarter.
The company reported a 20% increase in revenue to €51,7 billion, with a net profit of 21% to €18,8 billion. Windows OEM revenue was up 25% year-over-year, and Windows commercial product and cloud service revenue was up 13%.
“Digital technology is the most malleable resource available in the world to overcome limitations and reinvent everyday work and life,” said Nadella.
“As technology continues to increase as a percentage of global GDP, we innovate and invest in diverse and growing markets, with a common underlying technology stack and operating model that reinforces a common strategy, culture and sense of purpose.”
Recent data compiled by software company StarLeaf revealed that nearly all businesses (97%) say tools like Zoom, Webex, and Teams are now essential to their operations.
Over half (57%) of 2000 UK respondents say their business would not be able to function for more than an hour without access to their communication tools, while 27% admitted they would struggle to function for even 30 minutes .
