Microsoft is playing with a new way of incorporating Windows eleven updates
Following the release of Windows XNUMX, Microsoft has revealed that it is currently testing a new way to give updates to the latest version of its operating system. In a new blog post marking the seventh anniversary of the Windows Insider program, the software giant showed off bundles of update stacks that will allow the company to make more update improvements for its users outside of essential operating system updates. Bulks of Microsoft's update stack are coming to Windows Insiders in the dev channel starting with Windows XNUMX version XNUMX.

Update stack bundles

By selecting to receive update stack lumps, Windows users can ensure that their computer has the best chance of successfully installing new updates with the least amount of interruption. The Update Stack Package is now limited to a very small set of update-related system files that Microsoft develops independently of the operating system. However, by testing this process with Windows Insiders first, the company occasionally hopes to expand the reach and frequency of releases in the future. Update stack packages will be delivered to insiders via Windows Update in exactly the same way as new releases and cumulative updates. Dev Channel Insiders who want to try this new way of tracking updates can go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates to track the Update Stack bundle.
