Vivo X70 Massive Leak Reveals Familiar Design But New Finishes

The Vivo X60 series may only be a few months old at this point, but we already have our first glimpse of its successor. Reportedly called the Vivo X70, it will keep the same design language, but break new ground with CMF and cameras. Leakster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings has shared alleged images of the upcoming X series smartphones from Vivo's flagship products. The design is once again very minimalist with a single color rear panel and a two-stage camera module. There are three cameras on the back, one of which is clearly a periscope zoom camera for optical zoom. The other two are presumably a primary sensor and an ultra-wide sensor, at least one of which will have a gimbal system for better stabilization.

The Zeiss brand is once again visible on the module, thus continuing the technology partnership. This time, however, there could be a bigger influence on the actual hardware of the camera. While its predecessors had simpler glass finishes, this phone could spice things up with new implementations. Three variations are seen here: Plain White, Gradient Blue, and Sandstone Black. The source mentions that these are early prototypes and the phones will launch after around four months, so some design elements might change by then. Since the Vivo X70 Pro will be a flagship, it is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset with lots of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The exact processor could not be confirmed. Other likely features include an AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate, a sleek form factor, and fast charging. The official reveal is quite some way off, so we should find out more about the device closer to launch.
