LOL Champion and Arcane Vi Hero are coming to Fortnite Chapter 3

LOL Champion and Arcane Vi Hero are coming to Fortnite Chapter 3

Characters from the hit Arcane series return to Fortnite, and this time Jinx brings her sister Vi with her.

League of Legends (LoL) champions reached new heights of fame after being featured in the hugely popular Netflix series, and Fortnite is once again collaborating with LoL developer Riot Games to give players the chance to roam the chapter's new island 3 as a dynamic duo.

Arcane Vi will make its Fortnite debut on Saturday, January 22 at 19 p.m. ET / 16 p.m. PT (Sunday, January 00 at 23 p.m. GMT / 12 a.m. AEST) when it lands in the Item Shop – with Jinx returning to the store at al mismo time.

In addition to Fortnite skins, players will be able to choose from a host of different cosmetics to create a full Arcane-inspired loadout.

The Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe and Playground Lobby Track (Instrumental) will return. Meanwhile, players will also be able to get the new Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe, the Punching Practice emote, and the best Piltover loading screen.

When Jinx first appeared in Fortnite, her skin cost 1500 V-Bucks, so she should go back to that price, and we expect Vi's outfit to cost the same.

If you decide to opt for any of the outfits, you'll also get a free bling: the Memories of Zaun bunny or Jinx's dream jumpsuit, respectively.

Alternatively, if you want to go all-in, each skin will be available in a bundle with the other cosmetics, and getting one will net you a nice discount.

The Arcane Jinx Pack includes her Skin, Back, Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe, Playground Track, Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen, and Katchoo! loading screen for 1,800 V-Bucks.

Meanwhile, a new Arcane Vi bundle will include her skin, back bling, Piltover Warden Hammer pickaxe, Punching Practice emote, and Piltover's Finest bonus loading screen. The price of Vi's bundle hasn't been revealed yet, but we expect it to reach 1800 V-Bucks, just like his sister.

(*3*)Analysis: Who's heading to Fortnite next?

Arcane Vi is just the latest in a long line of collaborations between Epic Games and other major media franchises.

Recently, Hawkeye and Kate Bishop appeared after their Marvel Phase 4 TV show hit Disney Plus. His friend from Marvel, Spider-Man, also toured the Fortnite island.

As far as video games go, Chapter 3 introduced Marcus Fenix and Kait Diaz from the Gears of War series to Battle Royale. Fortnite also added fan favorites like Master Chief from Halo Infinite and Kratos from God of War to its roster. And we've even spawned characters from the books, with series character Mistborn Kelsier added to the game last year.

Based on the completely wild list of Fortnite collaborations we've seen, including many competitors putting their differences aside to ensure their rival characters can compete against each other in-game, it's nearly impossible to predict who will show up.

An incredibly surreal choice could be Frasier, yes, really, after rumors began to spread that Paramount and Epic Games had signed a partnership to bring the beloved TV character to Fortnite. Most likely, however, we'll see characters from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek as part of the Paramount deal, but we can always dream that the sitcom favorite will make an appearance as well.
