Logitech Lift Mouse: One Minute Review

Logitech Lift Mouse is an ergonomic mouse designed to perfectly fit your Apple setup. And it has a lovely seashell look to it, which I like.

Many ergonomic mice can seem really intimidating and even a little unnerving, but with the Logitech Lift, I faced my fears of weird mice and wondered why I had never tried one before. Obviously one of the first concerns is how exactly you're supposed to hold this thing if you're a newbie like me, but from the first touch it's very easy to set up and you almost forget about the slightly different grip.

The simplicity of the design makes it easy to adjust. The Logitech Lift Mouse has six buttons available for customization. Out of the box there are the usual left and right clicks, forward and back buttons to the left of the mouse, and a middle click button. The mouse is more suitable for small and medium-sized hands, which has a small impact on its versatility of use.

The Logitech Lift is hands down one of the best mice that has been aggressively clicked and dragged across my desk. Its unique aesthetic brightens up my workspace, and its battery life and cross-device connectivity make it the only mouse you'll ever need on your desk.

Logitech Lift Mouse: price and availability

The Logitech Lift Mouse is available from the Logitech Store for the same price in all regions, around €70 (about €62 / AU$107). We think this is a fair price for the mouse and it fits with the general philosophy that Logitech adopts to make its products affordable.

This is sure to be one of the cheapest PC and Mac mice you will find. Apple's Magic Mouse 2 will set you back $79 for essentially the same thing, but less user-friendly than the Logitech Lift. Unlike the Magic Mouse, the Lift offers a truly wireless experience as it uses a single AA battery that promises 24 months of use on a single battery. This is obviously much more convenient than having to turn the mouse upside down and out of order to charge it. A quick battery change and you're done!

Logitech Lift's 57-degree elevation (included?) is designed to relieve wrist strain and force your hand into a near-handshake position, straightening your arm and overall posture. It feels a bit strange at first, especially if you're very used to a traditional mouse and spend all day using one, but the transition isn't as awkward as you might think. An hour into using the mouse, you forget it's not the one you normally use, which is great for those of us who absolutely hate switching but want less wrist pain.

One design element that has proven extremely useful in the office is the ability to switch between devices with relative ease. Once the LogiOptions+ software is installed on each desired device, you can switch from one to the other by pressing a button located under the mouse. We wish the button for this wasn't at the bottom and could be mapped to one of the other six customizable buttons, but that's not a major operation and it only takes a few seconds to cycle through your devices.

You can choose from a host of options to customize your mouse buttons in LogiOptions+, from screen fragment tools to switching screens if you have more than one, undo and redo, cut and paste, and more. This is a long and comprehensive list of useful little tools for all kinds of jobs, be it creative, professional or personal projects. You can also define specific commands for the most common work applications such as Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, etc.

There are so many good things to say about this little mouse, though that doesn't mean it's flawless. As close to perfection as the Logitech Lift is, everything has its flaws. I found my little finger dragging across the desktop when I wasn't making a conscious effort to avoid it, and while it's not overtly disturbing on screen, it can be a bit annoying once you've timed how often this happens.

The soft-textured grip that gives the mouse its seashell appearance doesn't really add much grip and could be tapered to keep your hand in place (thereby preventing little finger drag).

According to Logitech, 54% of this product is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, which is always a plus when creating and maintaining a sustainable work environment. The packaging it comes in is also recyclable, which is becoming more and more common for tech products.

Logitech Lift Mouse: Performance

The mouse is a one-handed productivity machine and works like one. With just one or two clicks, you can do much more than you can with a traditional mouse. Logitech Lift uses advanced optical tracking technology that tracks movement with just the right sensitivity.

The mouse has a base 400 dpi which can be increased to 4000 dpi in 100 dpi increments. The average person is unlikely to need to raise the DPI much higher than the established standard out of the box, but you can make the riser a decent replacement for a gaming mouse if you're on a budget or looking for something a little more . ergonomic.

The battery life promise is two years, and while we obviously can't verify it ourselves (unless you want to come back to us in 2024), the battery hasn't dipped below 100% since being used constantly throughout the day. work for a good day.

There are never any issues or delays when using the mouse across screens or devices, and the mouse becomes an extension of your hand as the day goes on. Clicks are satisfying but quiet. While using the mouse, we noticed that it certainly wouldn't work very well for someone with a larger than average hand size, which is a shame.
