The LG Velvet will go on sale for the first time in India today. The device was launched earlier this week with the LG Wing. The LG Velvet is another dual-screen product in the company's lineup, but this time it's an added accessory. The LG Velvet debuted in May and was a 5G variant powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset. However, in India, the device will be available only as a 4G variant and the device is powered by Snapdragon 845.

LG Velvet price in India
The LG Velvet is priced at Rs 36,990. The dual screen stylus combo is priced at Rs 49,990. Color options include Aurora Silver and Black. The device is out now, but it is only available through LG's network of offline retailers in India. There is no word on whether the phone will eventually be available on Flipkart or Amazon.

The Velvet comes with a 6.8-inch curved P-OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and 60Hz refresh rate. The display ticks all the boxes. also curved into a sleek metal frame, making the device just 7,9mm thick and 180 grams in weight. The set is IP68 waterproof and meets MIL-STD 810G for drop protection. Installing the dual screen accessory adds a second, identical screen that can be used to multitask by opening another app. The package will also include a stylus for accurate input. The Indian variant of the LG Velvet is powered by an outdated Snapdragon 845 chipset, Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage that can be further expanded via micro SD. However, it will occupy the second SIM card slot. The battery is rated at 4300mAh and supports 4W fast charge 25+ and 9W wireless fast charging. Optics-wise, the LG Velvet houses a triple camera system with a 48MP f/1.8 primary shooter, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 5MP ToF depth sensor. The glass back has the cameras positioned vertically, imitating raindrops. The front camera has a resolution of 16MP. Other features include a built-in fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speaker headphone jack.
