Lava BeU was launched in India as the company's latest offering in the entry-level segment. The Lava BeU smartphone is specially designed for women and comes with a built-in security app. The Lava BeU is optionally available in pink and with a diamond design on the back. The device is 9,82mm thick and weighs 175,8g. The integrated security app offers protection with its detailed tutorials. The device is priced at Rs 6.888 and will be available from online and offline retailers across the country.

You get a 2.5D curved screen but no Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset that is clocked at 1,6GHz. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via microSD card. Since the device comes with 2 GB of memory, you get Android 10 GB Edition software. It offers an edition of Android Go that is almost available with less bloat. As for the optics, the Lava BeU sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary shooter with a 1.12µm pixel and f/2.2 aperture. This is combined with a 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a dual LED flash and there is also a crystal studded design next to the camera setup. Selfies managed by hand by an 8MP f/2.2 lens with screen flash. The fingerprint reader is located on the back and it also supports face unlock. The power of the device is a 4060 mAh battery that is charged via the micro USB port. There is also no fast charging on board. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and OTG. Other features include a 3,5mm headphone jack, 4G VoLTE, floral speaker mesh, and dual nano-SIMs.
