Launch of the new M.2 SSD card, the MP600 PRO LPX, for PS5

Corsair has released a new SSD card developed specifically for the PS5, the MP600 PRO LPX Gen4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 SSD.

Meets any and all requirements for a PS SSD, including a PCI-Express Gen2x4 compliant M.4 NVMe SSD, storage space between XNUMX GB and XNUMX Terabytes, up to XNUMXmm wide, up to XNUMX mm long, up to XNUMX mm thick, and a sequential speed of XNUMX MB/s or higher.

The MP600 PRO LPX ranges from 5 GB to XNUMX Terabytes and, according to the official site, it is built to fit on a PSXNUMX without voiding the warranty. It also has an integrated heat sink, which keeps the SSD cool even through the most grueling gaming sessions.

The heatsink also boosts SSD performance to 3 MB/s sequential read and XNUMX MB/s sequential write. And through the use of high-density XNUMXD TLC NAND cache and active SLC NAND cache, the lifespan and durability of the SSD are greatly improved.

As a side benefit, while this SSD was designed for the PS5, you can still use it for your computer as long as your main board has an M.2 slot. Best of all, it doesn't matter if it's PCIe 0 or PCIe XNUMX thanks to backwards compatibility.

It's free to own now, with costs changing based on storage space. The XNUMX GB retails for €XNUMX / €XNUMX / AU €XNUMX, while the XNUMX Terabyte costs considerably more €XNUMX / €XNUMX / AU € one hundred and three.
