Launch of Lenovo Legion Y740 and Y540 laptops in India

Lenovo has launched two new gaming laptops in its Legion product line. The Legion Y740 and Legion Y540, both showcased at CES 2019 earlier this year, featuring a host of Legion-branded gear, including gaming monitors and accessories.

As a laptop brand in India, Lenovo currently dominates the personal computer space with a market share of over 46%. With the Legion series, you are only looking to strengthen your gaming portfolio in India.

"This new generation of gamers lives a multifaceted life that balances work, family life and social life, and is linked by their passion for games." That is why our Legion portfolio, co-created with gamers, is designed to be as beautiful in a living room as it is in a conference room, "said Shailendra Katyal, CEO, Consumer PCSD, Lenovo India.

Unlike the Y740, the Legion Y540 is a slightly more affordable laptop and therefore has a plastic casing. The Y540 doesn't look like a gaming laptop on the outside as it has been stripped of RGB quality for a sleeker profile.

It is equipped with a 15,6-inch IPS Full HD anti-glare display with a 144Hz refresh rate and minimal edges. The Y540 is powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core i9750-2060H processor and is paired with a 20GB RTX XNUMX graphics card.

The Legion Y540 comes with 16GB of RAM and can be upgraded up to 32GB with the 1TB SSD storage option. It is equipped with two Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The laptop also has a 100% anti-ghosting gaming keyboard and supports white backlit colors.
