Ah, Lady Alcina Dimitrescu. Ever since Resident Evil Village was first revealed, this imposing character has dominated the thoughts of longtime fans and newcomers to the series. So who is she and how did she come to be in the game? What are her origins and those of her mysterious daughters? Is there an explanation for her appearance and her unique abilities? Taking cues from the game documents found in the Resident Evil Village, we have the answers, however, in typical Resident Evil fashion, some fiddling is required for the scientific aspects. At the age of 44, she was infected by Mother Miranda with the Cadou parasite. The Cadou was developed by Mother Miranda and interacts with her host and molds it in strange ways. Dimitrescu took to the Cadou well, as she granted him incredible powers of regeneration, the ability to heal any wound in seconds and preserve her appearance. She also gained razor-sharp retractable claws and the ability to transform into a dragon monster. A side effect of this has caused him to keep growing: he is 9'6", or 2,89 meters, like during the events of Resident Evil Village. The downside of this Cadou implementation affected his diet. Due to a blood disease unspecified, she is now bloodthirsty and has to drink some regularly to stay alive.She considered herself the best of the Four Lords and was generally loyal to Mother Miranda, rightly distrusting Heisenberg, whom she feuded with frequently. frequently, though she mistakenly dismissed him as a "fool". Bela, the blonde, is the most rational and the oldest. Cassandra, the brunette, is the most sadistic. Finally, Daniela the redhead is the youngest and most reckless of the three. Each of the girls has unique little animations that reflect these traits. These daughters were "born" when Dimitrescu experimented on Mother Miranda, implanting Cadou into the bodies of young women. The eggs laid on the bodies by the Cadou produced fly-like creatures extremely sensitive to cold. These creatures consumed the bodies and then seemed to settle in the forms of the young women. The result was that these newborn babies bonded with Dimitrescu, viewing her as a mother and retaining the ability to transform into a swarm of insects, while developing a taste for blood like her mother.
