JBL launches not one, but four portable Bluetooth speakers this year

JBL announced four portable Bluetooth speakers at CES XNUMX, in a variety of styles and budgets. These new speakers are the JBL Boombox three, Partybox Encore, Partybox Encore Essential and lastly the JBL Pulse five.

The JBL Partybox Encore Essential is going to be the first of these Bluetooth speakers to launch and will launch in the third month of the year XNUMX for $XNUMX. The solid party speaker uses JBL's signature Lightshow technology to get the party started, while an updated JBL Partybox Encore is also on the way, set to launch in the "summer of XNUMX," so expect to see this version roll out. will temporarily launch between June and September of this year.

The new Partybox Encore also comes with 2 wireless microphones and offers ten hours of battery life in a measly 6 hours of the Essential. And for € thirty-nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-five, it could be a great option if and your friends are karaoke lovers. The two speakers also have an IPX4 water resistance rating, making them ideal for use in outdoor environments.

Next up is the JBL Boombox XNUMX, which will also launch in "Summer XNUMX" for €XNUMX. A bit more expensive, but we were big fans of the JBL Boombox XNUMX with its punchy bass profile, super-high water resistance rating, and XNUMX-hour battery life.

So the Boombox 2 seems to be an improvement over its predecessor, with a new 2-way speaker system that includes a "racetrack-shaped" subwoofer, 3 midrange speakers, and XNUMX tweeters. Not only that, but the Boombox XNUMX is also set to integrate Bluetooth XNUMX, the latest and greatest version of the codec. If the speaker is as good as the Boombox XNUMX, then we could hear absurdly loud sound from the Boombox XNUMX when it launches later in the year.

Finally, the JBL Pulse XNUMX is going to be the next entry in the company's long-standing speaker line. Released in "Summer XNUMX" for €XNUMX, it's the cheapest option of these four new JBL announcements, but it sets itself apart in that it's going to offer XNUMX-degree surround sound and, Like its predecessors, an ambient light show that can be timed to your favorite tracks.

Previous models like the JBL Pulse three and Pulse four have been solid, but improvements could be made. The Pulse Five matches the twelve-hour battery life of the predecessor model, which is effectively not the best we've seen, and it's not known if we're going to see the return of the 5mm assist cable that made the Pulse. So three be a huge take on. Nonetheless, we hope the new loudspeaker meets or exceeds the powerful and balanced sound profile we are used to with these portable speakers.
