Itel has expanded its budget smartphone segment by adding another offering in its A-series, the Itel A47. The company launched the new smartphone in an exclusive link with Amazon, the only place where the smartphone will be available. The Itel A47 comes after Itel introduced the A48 and features a HD+ FullScreen display, curved edges, dual security features, and a larger battery. A47 is priced at Rs 5.499, which the brand justifies by claiming that it aims to “democratize technology for the masses” with “digital India”. The latest addition of Itel A47 is expected to go on sale across India from February 5 at noon.

The Itel A47 comes with a 5,5-inch (13,97 cm) HD + FullScreen display and 2.5D glass. In terms of cameras, it is equipped with a 5-megapixel AI dual camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with Soft Flash. It is equipped with various camera effects like smart recognition, portrait mode, beauty mode, etc. The Itel A47 screen has an aspect ratio of 18: 9, an IPS panel, curved edges and a resolution of 1440x720. The Itel A47 is powered by a 3020mAh battery and Android 9 Pie (Go Edition), it is also powered by a 1,4GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone is also equipped with two security features such as fingerprint sensor multifunctional and face unlock, which apparently allows the consumer to unlock the device in 0,2 seconds. It has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, as well as a dedicated expandable memory up to 32 GB. It features a glossy gradient two-tone background color finish and is available in two color options: Cosmic Purple and Ice Lake Blue.
