INS Mysore is the first Indian ship in World of Warships - More to follow

World of Warships now has not only Indian content, but the promise of more such content on the way. Wargaming, which is the studio behind World of Warships and other games like World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, introduced the Indian warship INS Mysore into the game. This new in-game INS Mysore is a Tier VI cruiser that is an in-game representation of the exact replica of the real INS Mysore. She is part of the Commonwealth tech tree in the game. And in a recent report by IGN India, Rajeev Girdhar, Regional Director of Publications for World of Warships Europe, said that players have responded positively to the introduction of subsidized in-game prize money in partnership with ISP ACT Fibernet and Zotac. “The response from the players has been very positive. We plan to support the Indian market with more locally relevant content such as our introduction of INS Mysore,” he says. "We look forward to resuming our local activities which have been severely hampered by the Covid19 outbreak." As for the INS Mysore, it was a Fiji-class cruiser that was commissioned from the Indian Navy by the government in 1957. It was previously part of the British Royal Navy where it was called HMS Nigeria and even participated in World War 2. INS Mysore was the flagship of the Western Fleet of the Indian Navy during the service and during the Karachi harbor attack of 1971 she served as command ship. In the game, she also comes with a special tricolor skin. She is currently available in the game.
