Huawei P50 likely design shown in leaked photos

Huawei P50 likely design shown in leaked photos
Our closest review of the Huawei P50 so far has been renderings, but now we've seen something that could be close to reality, as photos have leaked that appear to show a fake unit of the phone. Shared by Digital Chat Station and Technology Yu on Weibo (a Chinese social media site), the images appear to show the actual phone, but an accompanying description describes it (via machine translation) as a "third-party model." It can be assumed that this means a fake unit used by a company, such as a case manufacturer, who would like to know what the phone looks like before it is released.

(Image credit: Digital Chat Station) Fake units are often supplied by the phone manufacturer, or at least conform to the specifications provided by them, so it's quite possible that the phone shown on These images may be an accurate representation of the Huawei P50, but this is not the case. There is no guarantee. Either way, the photos show a design that closely resembles what we've seen before in renderings. There is a huge block of cameras housing 2 massive circles at the rear, although it is expected that at least one of these circles contains multiple lenses and indeed one of the images above shows 2 lenses in each from them. The front includes a flat screen, a perforated camera and the Huawei P50 is shown in black and white tones. As always with leaks, we'd take this with a pinch of salt, but if they match up with what we've seen before, we think they're probably right. We should find out soon, as the Huawei P50 is expected to land in May or June, probably as well as the Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pro Plus. Via GSM Arena
