Huawei P40 Launch Event Teaser Suggests It's Another Photography Phone

We already knew that the Huawei P40 would launch on March 26 thanks to a comment from the company's CEO, Richard Yu, and now the company has released an official trailer that confirms it as such, although it seems that it is. an online launch only now, not in Paris as we thought. This teaser, posted on Huawei's website, doesn't reveal much about the phone, but it does show us a few things that suggest the devices' strengths, though anyone familiar with Huawei phones isn't exactly surprised. Between the side view of what appears to be a smartphone camera bump and the hashtag '#VisionaryPhotography', it's clear that Huawei is once again marking its P-series phone around its photography power. . Given that Huawei advertises that all of these phones say the "P" stands for "photo," it's not exactly a surprise. The aforementioned camera bump looks pretty long, so it could be the Huawei P40 Pro or even the rumored P40 Pro Premium Edition we're looking at, as they pack a lot of cameras. We've heard that the base unit would include three rear cameras, the other units offer more, although we don't currently know how many. It should be noted that even if the event trailer shows a date, there is no time or location for this launch event. However, when you click the "Save Date" icon, you are prompted to add an event to your personal calendar called "Global Online Launch Event," which suggests that there will be no physical event. It would be a bit of a surprise given that Huawei usually launches P-series phones in Paris, but with coronavirus issues blocking physical phone launches left, right, and center, it certainly makes sense. TechRadar will be covering the event and testing Huawei P40 phones when we can, so stay tuned for everything you need to know about the new Huawei phones.
