HP adds 360- and 12-inch Chromebook x14 to its lineup in India

HP has added two new laptops to its Chromebook x360 lineup in India. These are the 12-inch and 14-inch variants that offer Google's extended ecosystem and feature a high-end finish with a fanless design packaged in a 360-degree convertible form factor. The new Chromebooks join the company's existing 14-inch models, announced in early August of this year. The 360" and 12" HP x14 Chromebooks are powered by dual-core Intel Gemini Lake processors and feature an HD+ touchscreen. The screen is surrounded by small boxes, except for the relatively wide background. Mr. Vickram Bedi, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP Inc. India, said: "Gen Y and Gen Z users want simple and secure Chromebooks with long battery life and better storage, but also great quality in terms of design, speed, and performance. With the new 12" and 14" Chromebooks, HP is breaking new ground in the industry with differentiated designs and superior features tailored to the computing needs of modern users." The Computer laptop has stereo speakers and the audio has been configured by B&O for an immersive listening experience. In addition, the new 12" and 14" Chromebooks come with Google Assistant, Play Store and Google One. Additionally, HP offers a yearly subscription to Google One with 100 GB of storage space and users can expand this storage space up to 256 GB. HP claims that both Chromebooks can offer battery life of up to 11 hours on a single charge. The 360-inch HP Chromebook x12 costs Rs 29,990 while the 14-inch variant will retail for Rs 34,990. HP is also offering an optional stylus for the Chromebook x360 at Rs 3,999. Both laptops can be purchased from HP World stores in 25 cities, HP India Online Store, Amazon India and Flipkart. The new Chromebooks will also be available at Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales and other large format retailers.
