Honor 9X comes to the UK and may be the last Honor phone with Google apps

Thanks to the ban imposed by Huawei to prevent recent Huawei and Honor smartphones from accessing Google apps, the future of Honor (a subsidiary of Huawei) in the UK Uni is a bit hazy.

Now the company has unveiled a new phone on its way to the UK, the previously announced Honor 9X.

The Honor 9X is the latest addition to the affordable Honor X series of smartphones. The last phone in the lineup was the Honor 8X (not surprisingly), and it sits alongside the Honor V lineup and the flagship Honor phone series. . .

The Honor 9X comes with a 6.59-inch LCD screen, which is big enough for an affordable phone and fear nothing: the smartphone has a 16MP pop-up camera.

There are three rear cameras and while none of them are as sophisticated as the one on the Huawei P30 Pro, for example, they look correct on paper.

The rear camera is made up of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth camera for optimized portraits. Notably, there is no telephoto lens.

The phone is normally powered by a 4000mAh battery, which powers the Kirin 810 chipset.

On the back of the phone is a fingerprint sensor, as well as a unique pattern on the back that shows an X shape when light shines on it. You can see this design in the photo above.

We don't currently have an exact launch date or price for the Honor 9X in Europe or the UK, but we hope you'll learn more about it soon.
