Next-gen murder

Hitman 3 will release on PC, as well as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and should see you through until IO Interactive's confirmed James Bond game Project 007 is closer to release. Don't have a new generation console yet? IO Interactive is offering a free next-gen upgrade for first-time purchasers on Xbox One or PS4. This means that you will be able to get the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X at no additional cost. However, you will need to purchase the game digitally, with IO Interactive indicating that it wants players to get used to digital downloads, a trend that will only continue. This certainly fits with IO's history of episodic releases, such as with 2016's Hitman, although the next iteration will release the full game in one go, as it did with Hitman 2. Players will also have the option to import levels from previous games, and we wouldn't rule out DLC in the future either.
