Google Sites now lets you restore specific pages from version history
Following a new update to Google Sites, site owners can now restore a specific page from version history, instead of having to restore an entire site. The feature comes as Google Sites embarks on a journey to try and make it easier for users to restore, edit, and publish specific pages that may have been bug-edited or deleted. A portion of the release has already started, and the full release is scheduled for September XNUMX, XNUMX.

Google Sites restored

Google has made its service easier to use across multiple departments and there is no admin control for the new Google Sites feature. To explore a place's version history, Google Sites users will need permission to edit the place, and version history may only be available for certain sites in the new version of Google Sites. In 5 steps, users can restore a specific page that might have been edited or removed from a revision without needing to restore the entire site to that revision. The feature is set to be available to all Google Workspace service customers, including service customers and G Suite Basic and Business users with personal Google accounts. It's been a busy year for Google Sites, as their traditional site author was discontinued on September 1, XNUMX. Google also added the feature that allows users to restore a place that had been deleted within thirty days, using the "restore place" button. There is also the option to delete any Google place owned by the user. In addition to this, Google has also added a feature that allows users to review changes to a site that has been written since it was last published. This functionality is offered to users in a side-by-side comparison format.
