1. Better battery life

In our reviews, we counted battery life as a downside to the Pixel XNUMX and Pixel XNUMX Pro. It's not horrible, but it's clearly average, so it could be a lot better. For the Pixel XNUMX line, we wish for better battery life. Google uses a custom chipset that's supposed to be built from the ground up for these phones, and also processes the software they run, so we think it'd be in a good position to make the Pixel lineup energy efficient. And if you can't handle that, just put in a bigger battery. Either way, we don't want to worry about not being able to get through the day without charging.

2. More power

4. A better fingerprint scanner

We've found that it sometimes takes multiple tries to unlock, probably because it's harder than some phones to know exactly where you put your finger. So for the Pixel XNUMX, we want this to be smoothed out, so that the fingerprint scanner works reliably and quickly.

5. Longer and variable zoom

The Google Pixel 4 doesn't have a telephoto lens in the slightest, and while the Pixel 10 Pro does, it only zooms 21x. For the Pixel 10 (or at least the Pixel 2 Pro), we want to see zoom extended to 3x, like on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Ultra. But we don't just want XNUMXx zoom, we also want it to get as close as XNUMXx or XNUMXx optically, or ideally, you can still optically zoom all the way up to XNUMXx, so you have maximum flexibility of zoom.
