After answering a few simple questions, GoDaddy creates a few sample pages for you, all of which can be viewed in the sidebar to the right. The interface is very easy to use and understand: to edit a page, simply hover your mouse over a section. As it highlights, click on it. The tools you need appear in the sidebar or hover over the highlighted section. This makes it one of the easiest website builder platforms out there and provides the tools you'll need to build your website quickly.

Sections

Add as many sections to your pages (Image credit: GoDaddy) There are chevrons to rearrange the sections of your pages and a great advantage between the sections to add another. You are offered a list of different types of sections to add to your page, such as intro, photo gallery, or live stream, most of which provide you with different layouts.

Gallery

Galleries are auto-populated with stock images (Image credit: GoDaddy) Adding a gallery is a very simple matter: choose it from the ``Sections'' menu, select the look you prefer, and GoDaddy auto-populates it with supports based on the description of the company you want. That you entered during the first configuration of Your site. Obviously, you can customize it, either by adding your own photos or by choosing different stock images. Each can be individually labeled. The only image processing you have is setting the photos to black and white and cropping them. If you need to change them in more detail, you must do so outside of this service. It's basic, but it works and looks good.

More pages

Add additional pages via the sidebar on the right (Image credit: GoDaddy) The ``+'' at the top right of the sidebar not only allows you to create new pages for your site (there doesn't appear to be a limit on the amount you can have), but the choice is also yours. information is presented. in the navigation menu, and you even have the option to add a URL or even create a dropdown menu. Placing links to pages in the footer is another option and therefore makes a page private; it means that only specific people you invite can see those pages.

Blogging

Blogging tools give you what you need to get started posting (Image credit: GoDaddy)

Blogging

The blog section is very good, and if your needs are simple, you will be very happy with this feature. Everything you need to start a blog is here: add headings, URLs, bold, italics, bullets, or a numbered list, you've got it. We really liked that you can add images to your post and even choose how to align them, to the left or right of a paragraph, or by themselves. You also have the option to add a title and crop the image (zooming in). Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to resize the image to better fit your page. Videos can also be embedded just as easily. You can upload them just like you would an image or paste the video URL (this works for most sites we've tested). Once written, you have the option to publish your post immediately or schedule it, which we don't see in many free plans.

Shopping

Setting up an online store is a very simple process (Image credit: GoDaddy) Activating the Shopping section is done differently than the others, by clicking its button at the bottom of the sidebar. For such a complex addition to any site, it seems pretty straightforward to use. If you have a Square account, you can import your inventory from there, which would save you a lot of time. CSV files are also supported. Adding a new product manually is very easy, whether it is physical or digital. There's a place for photos and videos, a description, category, inventory, variations, shipping costs, and even added extras like engraving or gift wrapping. When it comes to accepting payments, GoDaddy gives you three options: PayPal, Stripe, or Square, with very clear descriptions of which service offers what. PayPal is selected by default when you create a store. There is also the option of ``offline payment'' (cash/check/bank transfers), if you prefer.

Quote

There is one very clever feature in GoDaddy Website Builder and that is Dating. This allows you to organize and schedule client meetings, one-time courses, and recurring courses. Everything can be done online, even payment. Customers automatically receive email reminders and you can set when you want these reminders to be sent. In addition, text messages can also be used, but this feature may have a cost.

Edition

When it's time to publish, your free options continue as GoDaddy will host your site for you and give it a .godaddysites.com URL. However, if you want to connect your site to a specific domain name, you must pay for the privilege.
