Fujifilm X-A7: Potential Specs Leak Possible, With Great Focus And Video Efforts

Just days after streaming images of what appears to be the Fujifilm X-A7, we now see credible specs to go along with them.

These new details, offered by the Japanese website Nokishita, which revealed camera leaks, would come from domestic sources, and if true, it would seem that the official announcement will only be made in a few days, given that both things have been leaked. .

In appearance, replacing the existing Fujifilm X-A5, the X-A7 should make its appearance with a newly developed 24.24MP sensor, a sensor that respects the APS-C dimensions like previous models, but without the X-Trans. architecture seen in the larger X-Series options.

The copper wiring is now said to help read sensor data faster, while "8.5x" more phase-detection pixels than on the X-A5 should also help system debugging. This latest change is something we've seen on other recent X-series models, which makes it all the more believable.

We didn't really like how 4K video was implemented on the X-A5, largely because shooting 4K at 15 frames per second is pointless, but it seems like the X-A7 packs a lot more video power.

The information disclosed indicates an initial sample size of 6KB across the full width of the sensor, before it goes out to 4K at 30 frames per second. A new video countdown feature, along with high-speed HD recording, is also seen as a star.

The revealed images already showed a larger LCD screen than before, with a similar format to 16: 9 and a physical adjustment to the side instead of vertical. These new details claim that the size of the latter is 3.5 inches, with approximately 2.76 million points in width. A touch screen. This gives a nice boost over what we had before and just highlights the stronger video focus of this new model.

Other details include a single SD slot with UHS-I support, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, and a 2.5mm microphone jack. Battery life is 270 shots as standard or 440 in economy mode.

According to Nokishita, the camera will be available in late October for roughly $700 for a 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6.6 OIS PZ Kit Lens (roughly $570 / AU$1,000). Images of a brown version of the model also look much more legit than the Photoshop versions that came before it, and these new details confirm that the model should be available. Money and Camel, yes Camel, end.

Of course, we don't know if this is true, because Fujifilm hasn't formalized anything yet. But given Nokishita's track record of resolving these issues, we'd be surprised if many of these issues don't materialize.
