Foxtel Brings Netflix Content to IQ Customers
It's official: Foxtel has announced a partnership with Netflix, the streaming giant in the US, which will see content from the latter service fully integrated into Foxtel's library through a new interface for iQ customers. As reported by Gizmodo, the new interface will start rolling out to iQ4 cabinets in August. Customer rollout of iQ3 is expected to begin later this year. Foxtel's revised iQ plans (starting at €49 per month on a 12-month plan to €109 per month) will now offer 6 free months of Netflix, although existing Foxtel customers will need to agree to a new 12-month contract . to enjoy. After this initial 6-month period ends, users will need to pay the full Netflix subscription fee (€13.99 per month for HD and €17.99 per month for 4K) to retain functionality - unfortunately not offered no promotional offer. In addition to the updated interface, Foxtel also announced a new remote control with a dedicated Netflix button, allowing users to directly access content on the service with a single click. See remote control below.
