Forget the OnePlus 7T Pro - this could be the OnePlus 8

The OnePlus 7T has just been released and we expect the OnePlus 7T Pro to be announced on October 10, but we are already seeing renderings showing what the OnePlus 8 could be.

Shared by CashKaro and @OnLeaks (a leak with a good track record), the images show a phone that looks a lot like the OnePlus 7 Pro, with a curved screen, a very small cache, and three cameras working in the middle of the return. But there are some key differences.

More importantly, this phone has a hole-punch camera in the upper left corner instead of using a context camera like the OnePlus 7 Pro. This is a change that means that the front screen is slightly less centered on the screen, but eliminating the pop-up mechanism. it could allow, for example, wireless charging. This leak, according to this leak, will be featured for the first time on a OnePlus phone.

The OnePlus 8 shown here is also blue. We didn't see the proposed OnePlus 7 Pro, although it does look like the Blue Glacier OnePlus 7T.

Smaller differences include a redesigned speaker and different dimensions, the OnePlus 8 apparently measuring roughly 160.2 x 72.9 x 8.1mm (or 9.3mm, including rear camera relief); For comparison, the OnePlus 7 Pro measures 162,6 x 75,9 x 8,8mm.

These differences are probably partly due to a different screen size, the OnePlus 8 apparently being 6.5 inches instead of 6.67 inches on the OnePlus 7 Pro.

An oddly early flight

However, we would take these images with a good dose of salt. Although they are apparently based on detailed diagrams revealed by a "company insider" and shared by a leak manager who is not used to being wrong, they are also very early if it really is OnePlus 8, don't expect this phone to launch until mid. 2020.

There is an external possibility that this is the OnePlus 7T Pro, but that seems unlikely, because the source says that it is the OnePlus 8 from 2020, not the OnePlus 8 Pro either, which could land on the side.

Only time will tell if it's real or not, but we'll be sure to announce more OnePlus 8 news as we go along, but with the launch probably so far away, we don't. I did not expect that to happen. Much sooner.
