Xbox Series X launch gets bigger with EA Play coming to Game Pass Ultimate

We now know when the EA Play game subscription service will arrive for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, and that's the same day the Xbox Series X console launches on November 10. The inclusion of EA Play in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service, which currently provides access to a curated list of over 100 Xbox One games, as well as online play via Xbox Live Gold, appears to be a significant addition to the Game Pass range. EA Play contains over 60 additional games, including The Sims, FIFA 20, Anthem, and more. Microsoft has also made its hours clear, encouraging Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S buyers to sign up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from the day the console launches. While Halo Infinite's postponement to 2021 has come as a blow to some potential next-gen players, there will certainly be no shortage of titles available to play right off the bat. The EA Play inclusion will only be available on Xbox consoles, however, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on PC will receive the games in late December.
