Dynabook Partners with Microsoft to Bring Secure PCs to Market

Dynabook announced a partnership with Microsoft to offer its users a new class of Windows 10 Secured Core PCs.

The first Dynabook devices to offer this high-end hardware, software, and protection protection are now available, making it one of the first manufacturers to market secure PCs.

The Portégé X30-F and Tecra X40-F, first announced on July 9, are the first 13-inch and 14-inch notebooks to carry the Dynabook brand in Europe after the business rebrand. Toshiba in April this year. These laptops are elegantly designed and packed with a range of features designed to provide seamless connectivity and reliability.

The Tecra X50F, announced on September 5, weighs just 1,42kg and boasts an impressive 17-hour battery life. The device offers the high brightness of a 15-inch Sharp IGZO FHD LCD screen without compromising portability, performance, or reliability on the go.

Secure computers are designed to process critical data and protect workers in some of the most data-sensitive areas, such as healthcare providers who manage medical records and other personally identifiable information (PII), leading industries to targeting phishing and other attacks, as well as companies that employ mobile workers who need to be able to access critical information away from the office.

Damian Jaume, Managing Director of Dynabook Europe GmbH, explained why the company decided to partner with Microsoft to develop its new Secured Core computers, stating:

"Spectacular developments in digital technologies have fueled the growth and needs of the mobile workforce. In the age of massive data proliferation and proliferation of threats, businesses must quickly adapt to this changing environment. Today's network infrastructures not designed to meet today's security requirements Peripherals are often the first line of defense for businesses, but those operating in the most data-sensitive industries need an extra layer of security to provide complete protection That's why we partnered with Microsoft to develop an integrated hardware and software approach to security."

Dynabook is perhaps one of the first device manufacturers to offer secure core PCs, but expect others to follow suit now that Microsoft has officially announced its new security-focused initiative.
