Since Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, the Star Wars universe has expanded enormously and now includes a new movie trilogy, various excerpts and excerpts from original films, and new licensed video games. With the launch of the Disney Plus streaming service in November, Star Wars TV shows and movies will finally be in one place.
Formerly dispersed across Disney Life, Netflix, and other rental and purchase services, Star Wars on Disney Plus should give Star Wars fans a centralized way to access a lot of content, not to mention exclusive shows like The Mandalorian platform. With 4K / HDR resolution support for all Disney Plus subscribers, the only thing stopping you from enjoying Star Wars movies and broadcasts will be if you have a 4K TV capable of pushing those pixels to max.

Disney Plus Star Wars movies, and when they will arrive in service
So which Star Wars movies will be on Disney Plus?
There were 11 live Star Wars movies, including the previous trilogy and the latest movies starring Adam Driver, John Boyega, and Daisy Ridley.
We expect all the Star Wars movies to be on the market at some point, even if they won't all be present at the service launch, and it will probably only be a few months between the theatrical release and the new movie.
Disney Plus will likely add and remove different titles from their different brands each month, so we will be careful, although we have confirmation from Disney that all Star Wars movies will be in motion until the first year of Disney Plus.

Disney Plus Star Wars Shows: What and When
The hype around Disney Plus is a host of exclusive and exclusive new TV shows. The first one we will have is The Mandalorian, which represents the background of the Mandalorian planet, from where the bounty hunter Boba Fett (from the original films), attached to the jetpack. With Taika Waititi singing with a droid and directed by Jungle Book's Jon Favreau, we're sure to have a good time, and the film will be available on release day, November 12.
Thereafter? The next Star Wars television series will be a television series that will follow Diego Luna's Cassian Andor from the 2016 film Rogue One, and where Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Wreck-It Ralph) will reprise his role as a sarcastic K droid. -2SO. At the D23 Disney Expo we learned that its launch was scheduled for 2021.
A televised Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor should also start shooting in 2020, which means we could see it land as early as 2021, or soon after.

Of course, they won't be the first Star Wars TV shows in the galaxy. The seventh season of the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which concluded in 2014, will arrive on Disney Plus in February with 12 new episodes. Naturally, seasons 1 through 6 will be available at launch, as well as all four animated seasons of Star Wars: Rebels.

Star Wars Movies and Shows Far, Far Away
While Disney Plus already has a well-stocked roadmap, you can be sure that this is only the surface of what Disney has for the streaming service, although details beyond next year are still rare.
We know that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige brings his talents to the Star Wars universe (via Gizmodo), and that The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, despite the more controversial divisions of recent films by Star Wars: Will always direct a new film trilogy after the nine-film Skywalker saga ends.
The Single Rumors: A Star Wars Story sequel appears to have been canceled over a disappointing box office performance for the film, but with so many new Star Wars properties coming out, including the exclusive Disney Plus TV series arriving, there are still. many avenues, characters and galaxies to explore.
