Disney Plus has confirmed that its first MCU TV show, WandaVision, will arrive in late 2020. In an announcement of its upcoming lineup later this year, a mention of the Marvel TV series was included under Movies & Shows. TV station launching second year of service, "premier" in late 2020. That means you shouldn't expect it until November 12, but it will arrive before the end of the year depending on the writing. In an earnings call earlier this year, it was announced that WandaVision would launch in December; We think that's still the plan. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier resumed filming over the past week and was originally slated for an August release. Then a coronavirus hit and production was suspended. The Disney Plus Year Two lineup also includes (but is not limited to) a Black Beauty remake, an Inside Pixar documentary series, and a ballet school documentary titled On Pointe. All of this is coming before the end of 2020. WandaVision is a series centered around the MCU characters Wanda Maximoff and Vision; the latter had a dramatic ending in Avengers: Infinity War. The show will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their respective roles. Our first look at the show in February's Super Bowl trailer suggested it would be a weird sci-fi series that builds on classic sitcoms; it's another excuse to dress Vision in fancy clothes, wholesale.
