Days Gone is coming to PC and more PlayStation exclusives are on the way
Even more PlayStation exclusive games are reportedly coming to PC from Days Gone in early 2021. PlayStation President and CEO Jim Ryan shared the announcement in an interview with GQ, where he also revealed that a new PSVR headset is coming. on the way. Ryan's announcement was also later backed up by a tweet from Days Gone developer Bend Studio, who confirmed that their game would be coming to PC soon. At this point, we don't know what other games are on the way, but Sony has said that more PlayStation exclusives will be coming after the Horizon Zero Dawn port is deemed a success, though not all fans who weren't were told. Agree on the release.

What other games do we want transferred to PC?

The PlayStation-exclusive library of games is exceptionally good, so we'd like to see more Sony games released for PC in the future. Some obvious highlights would be Last of Us 2, which many have called the best game of 2020, and of course God of War, the soft 2018 reboot of the franchise that brought Kratos into Norse mythology. God of War certainly looks more likely in the near future, with Days Gone and Sony's other PC port, Horizon Zero Dawn, both releasing several years after its console debut. For now, we'll have to see what Sony picks next.

Why do we have more ports?

For years Sony has lagged behind Microsoft in releasing its games on non-console platforms, so what's different now? Well, apparently it's easier to port games to PC than ever before, especially since the PS4 and Xbox One were more PC in nature. However, at the center of the decision is, of course, money. Jim Ryan points out that the cost of making games is high, and you only need to look at Cyberpunk 330's estimated €2077 million budget to see it in action. As costs rise, it is necessary to sell more copies, but for exclusives it can be difficult since the player pool is smaller than for cross-platform versions. By selling its games to PC gamers, Sony can hope to make a little more money from the titles it's already earned. Today's best Days Gone deals
