Cyberpunk 2077 concept art shows what Johnny Silverhand was like before Keanu Reeves
Cyberpunk 2077's Johnny Silverhand is great, but thanks to concept art surfacing online, we now know what Samurai's lead singer looked like before Keanu Reeves came along, and he's quite a bit different. Images of Cyberpunk 2077 concept art have surfaced on the ArtStation profile of concept artist and CD Projekt Red coordinator Lea Leonowicz, showing what Johnny Silverhand was originally intended for (via GamesRadar). Silverhand's original concept art saw the rebellious musician looking clean-shaven and looking more like a young Keith Richards than the grizzled ex-rocker we see in the game.

Although some of these sketches show him sporting the iconic Silverhand aviators, a bulletproof vest, and leather pants that we saw in the last iteration.

It appears that the general aesthetic of Silverhand has remained largely unchanged, but we can certainly see how Keanu Reeves influenced the final character, bringing a much grittier rock n' roll vibe to Silverhand. It's interesting to see how the character has developed over time and to imagine what it might have been like if someone else had taken on the role. But we'd rather have Keanu Reeves in our head than Keith Richards... Today's Best Cyberpunk 2077 Deals Cyberpunk 2077 - Xbox One Cyberpunk 2077, Warner Bros,... Cyberpunk 2077 - PlayStation 4
