Google has added a number of new features to the latest version of Chrome OS, but the highlight is the addition of virtual desktops.
Chrome OS users will now be able to switch between four different desktops, each with its own window layout.
To enable the new feature, simply drag up to see all windows in View mode. A new button labeled "New Office" will be visible in the upper right corner. By clicking the button, you will be able to create a new space in which you can drag windows in the same way that you activate Mission Control in the Mac OS operating system.
As Google constantly updates Chrome OS with new versions, the search giant has also released a new web app called "What's New" to help users familiarize themselves with the latest features available in each new version. The new web app will soon start showing up in a notification on Chromebooks.

Virtual desktops are a great addition to the Chrome OS, but Google has decided not to focus on the new feature of its blog posting.
Automatic Clicks is an accessibility feature that allows users to trigger a mouse click by placing the mouse pointer over a specific object. Google has also added better multimedia controls to Chrome OS. Now users will be able to manage sound in Chrome tabs more easily. There's even an overview of all the noisy tabs in the system menu, which should help you identify tabs that automatically play videos or music, for example.
There are so many changes in Chrome OS 76 that Google hasn't even mentioned all of these changes in their blog post. A very useful new feature that has been omitted is the ability to send a URL from Chrome OS directly to your smartphone.
Finally, Google removes support for Flash and allows users to more easily see when a web page can be installed as a progressive web application on their device.
The "stable" version of Chrome OS 76 is rolling out to users, but like most large operating system updates, not everyone will receive it at the same time, but your Chromebook should arrive in a day.
