As users of the free tier of ChatGPT know, it's not uncommon for the service to reach capacity and become temporarily unavailable, but the current issues seem to go further.
For example, on Reddit some paid users of ChatGPT Plus are reporting problems (opens in a new tab), in the thread "Is that why I paid?". Other users report missing conversations, and many assume they have been banned from the service. Well, the good news is that this is most likely due to technical issues with OpenAI today.

If you're having trouble accessing ChatGPT today, you're not alone: the Downdetector website sees many user reports that the service is down.
As these reports began to fade, many users, including TechRadar, are having trouble opening ChatGPT as usual today. We will update this blog live with any official news as soon as we hear from OpenAI.
